I love my grandparents very much, but they are also unintentionally very very funny.
DID YOU KNOW next week marks the 2nd anniversary of Sugar Bombs! 2012 was a bit of a quiet year compared to my first year of journal comics, because I’ve been working on my degree, volunteering, spending time with my favourite partner in crime, and having all sorts of fun mental health hijinks. I’m hoping to do lots more comicky project type things in 2013 c:
It is well-documented that sea creatures give me the creepies, so I have no idea why I enthusiastically suggested that we go to the aquarium! I did enjoy it, but I enjoyed the bits where the monsters animals were behind glass a lot more.
Have this picture of Jase with the rays!
This is sort of an experiment with sugar bombs semi-lo-fi. I actually got half-way competent with those wiggly brushpens, and inadvertently my lo-fi comics lost all of their naivette and charm.
This is something Snicklet said to me when we were in holiday in Cornwall this year. She is pretty morbid and weird sometimes. She said she intended it in a nice way. Suspicious.
Aww wow it’s been ages, I’ve been terrrrrrrrible at updating this.
I also realised my tags are all messed up, and I have “comic” and “comics” all differently all over the place and it’s a nonsensical bundle of awful, so I need to sort that out so it makes sense and shiz.
Anyhow I’ve been busy! Loads has been up. I’ve been to AMERICA! That was pretty crazy. But despite seeing the Washington Monument and pretzels *this big*, still my favourite things to draw comics about are stupid moments in bed at home. Ho hum.
